The Imperial College of Tropical Agriculture (ICTA) Collection. [19--?]

This Collection consists of old material formerly belonging to the Imperial College of Tropical Agriculture. They are mainly rare and historical items and are in a separate sequence. The collection includes titles such as Borde's Histoire de l'ile de Trinidad; Ligon's History of Barbados; Sloane's History of Jamaica, Trinidad Almanack and Trinidad Historical Society Publications. It also includes the ICTA Library Admissions Book, ICTA Academic Board Minutes 1923-1952; and photographs of the West Indian Agricultural College and ICTA.

The Imperial College of Tropical Agriculture, forerunner to The University of the West Indies, was established in 1921. In 1960 it was incorporated into the Faculty of Agriculture of the St. Augustine Campus of The University of the West Indies.
